: 2) Jukka Kemppinen, who has added the text, has told us that he is sure it isn’t copyrighted: the Finnish Copyright Law states that lists, catalogues, and databases are protected for 15 years only[http://www.finlex.fi/fi/laki/ajantasa/1961/19610404]. “Kuka kukin oli” (‘Who Was Who’; it’s about Finland, not Australia) includes only information listed quite mechanically, so according to Kemppinen, it’s not a creative work defined in the Finnish Copyright Law. Each entry has only a short list of parents, wife or husband, education, career etc. We trust Kemppinen because he is a copyright specialist and former professor of Information Law, so he certainly know these copyright things in Finland. Of course, if there are other opinions, we can discuss them. – [[Käyttäjä:Nysalor|Nysalor]] 17. helmikuuta 2010 kello 22.40 (UTC)

::Thank you! It's very interesting that you claim "catalog protection" for this kind of work. I'm doing the same with some similar works in Project Runeberg, e.g. http://runeberg.org/vemarvem/ --[[Käyttäjä:LA2|LA2]] 17. helmikuuta 2010 kello 23.20 (UTC)
